Based on the energy and movement that is created by the orchestra’s stringed instruments, this poster was structured on 9 × 12 grid angled at 15 degrees. This, coupled with strokes varying in length and width, serves to create depth and motion within the piece. Printed on large format glossy photopaper to evoke the shiny qualities of the orchestra’s instruments and typeset in varying weights and styles of Helvetica Neue to reinforce hierarchy.
