I am a jill-of-all-trades: a graphic designer and marketing specialist with a strong, multifaceted creative background rooted in music, writing and visual arts. A classically trained mezzo-soprano, I have more than 15 years of experience as a nonprofit fundraising professional, content writer, copy editor and designer. In addition to a bachelor's degree in music from Ithaca College, I hold a certificate in Graphic Design from the Rhode Island School of Design's Continuing Education program and specialize in clean, concept-driven pieces.
As a writer and editor of publication articles, grants, fundraising brochures and letters, I have valuable experience in writing for a variety of audiences and, as a designer, am able to effectively marry that text with dynamic design. I am easily approachable, have a good rapport with co-workers + clients, and am able to clearly interpret needs and communicate concepts.
